Risk..It's all About the Journey!

I was reminded this week the importance of takng risk to fulfill your dreams. It really is all about risk...but risk that is based on proper planning and information...not emotion.

How this reminder came about was that I had to make the decision whether to invest more into an opportunity or to back off and retreat because things weren't just going according to plan....well that;s not true. Things were going according to plan..just not fast enough for me...and this is where I almost made the fatal decision to retreat. It is a fundamental problem i have..patience. I am working on it but sometimes it causes me to switch gears before I really need to. All this does is stop momentum....and sometimes that is good momentum.

You see, there is an old saying that most entrepreneurs give up just before great things are going to happen. If you have a great plan and you have bought into it you need to be patient to allow the fruits of your labor and time to come together.

So fortunately I heard the little voice in my head that said.."Hey Stupid..here you go again" Business isn;t black and white it's gray. So what if the plan is not moving as fast forward as I want...it is going in the right direction. All I need to do is to keep the momentum going and the speed will look after itself.

Here's to your success!
